ClubDriving MEMBERSHIP STANDARDS - Master membership

Only awarded to the very best road drivers in the world, master level membership of the club recognises driving of the highest order.

During a days driving on road and track with Mark Kendrick, a driver will have driven beyond all reasonable reproach throughout.  On the road their mastery of the art of driving will have been consistently demonstrated in performance at the level of unconscious competency.  Their handling of the car's controls will have been exceptionally smooth and sympathetic, with optimum progress made across country.  The overall standard of road driving will have exceeded the minimum standard for honours membership.

On track the driver will have demonstrated the ability to drive their car at the limit of grip, and recover from understeer and oversteer.  They will have used an effective steering technique throughout, coupled with sympathetic throttle control to balance their car.  They will have demonstrated the ability to stop their car in a corner from speed in the shortest distance and under full control.  They will also have demonstrated the ability to heel and toe ('conventional' manual transmission required), and quickly carry out emergency lane change manoeuvres.
